Southern Taveuni

Take some time during your stay to explore the unique local area with a Guided Tour of Southern Taveuni and experience the amazing friendliness and charm of the Fijian people.

Start off in nearby Vuna Village, where many of our staff live, and learn how the traditional woven mats and Tapa cloths are produced. Visit the famous 'Southern Blowhole' - the only one in Taveuni - and watch the ocean tide shoot up to 50m into the sky.

See the 'Tatanoa' - the sacred Fijian site where legend says that a Warrior Chief formed stone kava bowls after his daughter was kidnapped. And marvel at the 6 fingered hand prints of the giant ancestor warriors that once lived in the village.

Balmy days in Paradise

Paradise is enjoying idyllic weather at the moment with endless days of balmy sunshine and evening skies filled with stars.

The pool has been a popular place to while away the sunny hours, sipping cocktails or diving in for a refreshing swim. And the warm nights have been filled with dinners by lantern-light, accompanied by the voices of the seranaders.

We're looking forward to enjoying many more great sunny days!

Fishing Fever!

Paradise played host to its first ever Fishing Competition this week! Australia took on New Zealand in the form of guests John & Anna and Martin & Heather.

Each team had a boat and 2 crew at their disposal and tactics were kept top secret before they took to the water.

90 minutes of fishing time was strictly monitored and a cat and mouse game soon developed between the 2 boats.

As the sun started to set neither team could break the deadlock and a draw was the final result.

Congratulations to all the hardy competitors and we're looking forward to the next tournament!

Cocktails Treats

If you’re feeling indulgent, why not treat yourself to a Paradise cocktail?

Tomasi's speciality, a “Taveuni Dream”, is perfect for lazing away the afternoons with. While Kini

makes a mean “Pina Colada” to accompany our sunset seranaders.

And if you’re feeling truly decadent.... a “Paradise Daiquiri” is just the thing to enjoy in the spa!
